Here's a come back... start throwing a limit of tuna or mahi on the dock and they might call your name or boat name when they see you out there.
There have been days where me and my twin 4 strokes are catching fish and the inboards arent. For me, it makes a difference what beer is on the boat as there are days where the fish prefer Old Milwaukee over fancy Corona. Earlier this year I had the charters asking me what I was doing as I had fish and I let them come right in back of me while I was hooked up. I said it was the beer and all green stuff.
It is all about teamwork out there as we all are chasing the same stuff and paying alot of money to do it. For the record, twing 4-stroke 225s on a 30ft boat burn 1 gallon per mile for me so a canyon run is not cheap.

Mike, as a guy who ran a 29 Regulator for several years, up here seems like we were all called "Grady's",lol. "Outboards" must be the Southern boy's term. And don't get huffy Grady owners. Not dissin you, just what I always hear on the radio when a charter is cursing a small boat.

This reminded me of Saturday morning at the dog..........probably 80 boats anchored up tight and chunking, and a big sportfisher trolls right through the middle of all of them. Should have heard the comments back and forth.
Mine sound like sewing machines.
My saying is. What do the people get on when their big boat is sinking?
Answer--- A little boat. And they wish they had an outboard too.
