Well ,Well The elusive yellow bellies. I do not proclaim to be a professional pan fish plucker but I have been known to harvest enough for a decent Fish-Fry. With that bull out of the way I have had my best luck on the Rap from the second week in September until the second week in October. Now I usually fish in the mouth of the River at such well known Honey Holes as The Spike,Butlers hole,#8,The Silos and the Mooring Ball Pickle Factory. Fat as Me Blood worms usually help to fill the cooler. One of my favorite times of the year to fish. Usually takes one or two Northeast blows to get them big yellow bellies biting 2 at a time. Good Luck Big Dave
I agree with Hooked-up03. I've nailed them in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of September just upriver of the White Stone bridge. Any time, any depth, any tide. It didn't matter. Great action.
