I just bought a place a trails end, fishing nice weekends on my 22' Sea Pro Center (really nice days) or 23' Grady Gulfstream. Launch out of Merritt. If there is a rondevous in the works or just want to exchange info, count me in.

First of all, I take offense at your comment. I am too smart to own a boat
It's my friends boat. He & his dad own it. 26 ft Glacier Bay, walk around. We fish about every other weekend, although the weatherman is about to spoil that.

I don't know which is Merritt's? We launch from the public ramp near the inlet, not Capt Bob's.

We are in for a meet-n-greet beer with the Chincoteague group. Always good to have friends on the water.

I volunteer my place at the Cove...perhaps a crabs and beer deal? We need 2 get a head count and date...Kyle will provide the crabs :). Probably like most I'm only down on weekends. I suggest a Sat eve around 7p that way if anyone fishes that day they can make it. I'll throw out Aug 4th for a date.

Reel Fool u r a smart guy. Mine has been in the shop now for 2 and half weeks w/engine issues. It's actually been kinda nice cuz as I rode w/Perry and Kyle (topless) this last Saturday and Glenn (shammy) this fri. I mite tell em 2 keep the dam thing! Hey the GB isn't Yellowbird is it?

It's great to know there is going to be a lot of friends on the island. I bought a lot in Oyster Bay and am building a weekend house there (haven't started building it yet, but soon I hope). I have a boat of my own (a 24 Albemarle), but I've only fished on charter boats out of Oregon Inlet, Hatteras and Ocean City. I want to get some experience on some smaller boats like mine. If any of you are looking for someone to HO, I have gas and bait money. Thanks for the great response to the thread.
