I guess maybe I should Post here...
I am responsible for getting the speakers for my club.
I have been in the hospital and am just recovering. I was short a speaker !
A friend fished with Kevin and Beth for Sheephead last year and had a GREAT day.
I didn't ask Kevin and Beth to speak because they were the Best there is ..
I asked as a favor to me, I am sure everyone attending will get something out of THEIR talk.
I am sorry it brought out comments that are hurtful and spiteful.
I thank Kevin and Beth in advance for helping me out.
I hope we have a room full.
And if you are attending, Please bring Canned food for the Food Bank.

Worms nothin for nothing I fish with Beth because she is fun to fish with, and we openly share information when we can. And we are all good fisherman, and it sounds to me like you are jealous of her success because she is a woman and could probably out fish you because she does her homework.

Here is what I think, it totally rude to jump on a person who is volunteering his/her time to give a talk to anglers. If you do not want to hear a person, it's simple, just do not go to the meeting. But what does it do to jump on something and try and make them look bad? I'll tell you how it comes across, it comes across that you are a negative person who has a bit of envy. If you do not like a post, don't read it, if you read it don't comment. If you see a free seminar and do not want to hear it, don't go. But throwing around negative energy is not what we need around here, so just keep it to yourself, it's that simple. Don't comment, don't PM people, don't email people, just let it go. This is fishing for goodness sakes and someone is taking his/her time for FREE to pass along some information they have learned.

If you can not say something nice, just don't say it.

It would be a nice compliment to the Bull Island Club and to Beth to have a large turnout. Bull Island Club is not a large Club, it is one of the younger fishing Clubs in Tidewater. Come on over and meet a lot of nice folks. I am a member and will be attending. See you at 7 Monday night.
