Does anyone know of a safe marina to keep my boat besides capt. Bobs that won't cost me a fortune?

Has anyone fished the sub car wreck?

What is the closest you can catch dolphin fish or tuna?

I have a 22 foot boat but don't want to go out to far.

    Any tips on catching sharks?

    Thanks!

Capt bobs is about the only game in town for short term dockage .The subway cars is a good place for flounder ,sharks and other bottom fish .As far as dolphin I've caught them as close as 10 mile ,but the chances are better out to 20f line . the yellowfin have bin out about 30 to 40 miles out .

I think Curtis Merritt has transient slips????? makomyday is spot on...the cars have been very hot and quite the opposite sometimes from what I'm hearing. itty bitty bailers were caught around 2TL and the cars last year pulling dink squid chains (4") where u'll also get some macs. Also keep ur eyes open 4 cruisin cobia...keep a rod rigged and ready.

Curtiss Merritt Harbor has transient slips along with gas. I believe a slip is about $15 a night but call the Chincoteague town office for the current daily and weekly rates.

The inlet is an easy transit from either Marina. I would say the shark fishing would be better at the cars, especially for size. If its rough outside, anchor up on a creek bend. Lots of critters in those creeks.

Should have posted this earlier but what kind of fish could I expect to catch at the cars in Septemeber October? Will sharks still be hanging around?

I always wanted to catch a shark with some size so that's one the goals for the year.
