went out today with 2 buddies even though it rain and we were wet all day..we did not care. left SP and caught spot for some LL at the bridge. Caught a dozen, headed south to the mouth of severn to LL with no luck. Headed to hackets no luck..so pulled the jigging rods since we had some small birds working. Jiged up about 40 rock with only one keeper 19"...but that was so much fun, plus i practiced a little jigging..loved it. We were soaked but having fun in the rain.

so it was 330 and i decided to troll for the last hour since the rain never stopped. Dropped some tandem storms deep...10 minutes in,deep rod gets hit19"...set it back out, 10 minute slater 25" 10 minutes after..set it back out..20"...all on storms yelllow. that was great!!!! this was right out the mouth of the severn. It was great being out there , rained all day out there....and i just had some good dinner

The exact same thing happenned to me a few years ago.July, slow livebait bite that day, crossed active, suspended fish in 55ft.,about half way down.I didn't have any trolling rods on board so rigged up our trophy live line rods.2 Penn Slammer spinning rods on 650s with inline sinkers & storms, then trolled through them. We"caught our limi tof 4 in 20 minutes.23-26in. fish by accident.Serendipidy strikes again.

i was trolling yesterday and didn't manage any keepers. Can I ask what weights you were using.? I was using tandem bucktails with no luck. Caught a dozen dinks up to 16" on a spoon spreader bar.

    thanks
