Cobia -- North of Crisfield

Went out early this morning, kayaked the channel edge in front of the condos. Caught of a lot of undersized croakers, spot and white perch. Caught three nice sized croakers and a small red drum. About noon, went out on a friend's boat north of the old light house -- again catching croakers -- a lot of smalls with some large ones mixed in. Boated a 24" cobia that went back -- a good fight on light tackle. I think its uncommon to find them above Tangiers. Nice day on the water. Heard the trout bite was good around Smith Island.
