Flounder Locations?

I know its been slow this year but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for locations that have historically held some flat bellies?

Went down to Virginia Beach this weekend and we caught all the flounder we wanted at the 2nd island. It'd be nice to have some of that action back at home.

East side of the Whitestone Bridge on the north side of the river where the big drops and hills are located. I have seen reports of fish coming from that general area in the past but honestly have not seen reports this year. This year has been very slow with few reports on this board regarding flounder in the river. Daydreamer has a report on the board right now with a nice flattie caught in the Rapp somewhere.

We pounded the whitestone bridge area mentioned, the Mosuito point area, Cherry point area and even tried the reef in the rap. nothin. Saw one nice one come over the side of another guys boat at the reef but all we could manage was to lose a bunch of gear there.
