Fished the bay side beach and caught a ton of small croakers today along with some spot. Used fishbites. Only had very light tackle and waded for some flounder. I hooked the biggest one I have in years but couldn't land it with the rod and test line I had. Did see it however and must have been close to 32". What a heart breaker that was losing a 8-9lb flounder. Next time I'll either stick with the croaker fishing or bring a heavier rod.
