Started out heading to the east thru the sloppy seas and ended up turning and heading back for a day of shallow water fishing.

Didn't see hardly any boats today, did I miss something in the forecast?

Oh well better luck next time.

that wind played havoc man ... I stayed in the creeks as well. Of course, it started to clear up in the afternoon as I had to leave to come home. Figures! Why do i have to work again ... oh yeah ... in order to pay for the damn gas and repairs on the boat!!

Yep! I know what you mean. I really hate it when they say its 5-10 -1to2'waves an I am siting in 5' waves and more like 17-20 MPH winds!
Fishnnk, I went out after working onfuel lines yesterday, it did calm down some- but I trolled 8-10miles and didn't get a bite!

We turned back too and drifted the piankatank for awhile. I did make my first trip through the hole in the wall Sunday. Just wish we could have at least found some decent size croakers.

Guess I need to start working on some plan B places but that's the fun of learning a new area.
