Minnkota Riptide SE55 trolling motor and mounting plate - $400

This is a one-year old Minnkota Riptide SE55 trolling motor. It has 55 lbs of thrust, a 52" shaft, and operates under 12V of power.




I bought this motor new in the summer of 2011. The trolling motor power socket on my boat did not work properly so I ended up having to jury-rig a separate battery box. As a result, I did not use the trolling motor very often. I used it about 5 times last fall and 3 times this summer for a total run time of less than 5 hours. Although it provides plenty of power for my 16 ft center console, I am not happy with the arrangement of how it sits on my front deck and am not likely to use it anymore.

This motor is sold new for $649. The Minnkota RTA-19 mounting plate sells new for $99. Together that would be $748. I am asking $400 for both items.
