Default Hampton River bait - Castnet/hook and line??

I just put the boat at sunset and would like to catch mullet/spot for bait, but im not exactly sure where. Im afraid to toss the net because there seems to be a ton of debris all along the shoreline, and I imagine its all over the place. Is there any place I should look specifically for castnetting mullet/spot?
    Thanks in advance.

Look in front of Hampton University where they keep the fleet of sunfish sailboats. All along that rocky shoreline is a good spot. Another place to catch them is around Sunset Marina. Mullet when near the surface are fast swimming and usually leave a v shape wake. Bunker on the other hand usually boil on the surface. These two surface disturbances give them away. You'll have to move around to find them. Spot and croaker should be caught on hook and line.

    Good luck
