    Default What happened on long creek today with the dredging? Accident?

    Missed the news, family member called and said it was all over WAVY 10...something about a barge, dredging and Long Creek...Anybody got any news?

    I didn't see it either but heard Andy Fox almost got his butt kicked. Apparently one of the dredge spoils containers wasn't loaded properly and went overboard loaded with muck.

    I know this doesn't help CaptBeach but probably just Andy being Andy. I think he is an embarrassment to any side he may be on.

    Or spell: "the drudge"

    How could this be possible? VB City officials said the current inside the lynnhaven is no problem, there would be no accidents like barges breaking free and hitting the bridge or spilling of dredge spoils.

    Yup, I guess they should just not dredge altogether and let the whole inlet silt in so its just a preserve for the tree huggers.
