Not much happening. Nothing like last week. Struggled to get a basket of mixed.
Only 12 peelers which is very low for this time of yr.

HH fishing wasn't good either. Looks like they may be headed for the bay, or it was just an off day.

Had fun dodging the lightning.

We fished 2400' also and was out of bait by 9:30
Sooks are starting to come on but still small.
All crabs kept were black bottoms.

I was using clams thinking I would have the upper edge

Worked different area 4' to 10' . So far this year today was my worst , just slight of a bushel of mix, a lot of smalls out there. Another Commercial laying next to me ran his line several times during the morning harvesting only 6 crabs on chicken

I think I would wait a few weeks John. I think the only thing that will improve crabbing is cooler temperatures. Let's got to Chris's.............Gary
