Mac's (like blues) are easy to fillet (3 cuts per side) and there are no bones! ( when done properly)

Thank you guys for really good info! I think everyone appreciates it. I rarely loose fish as well. The only loss I had was a mamma Rockfish. It was in the 70's, and as a juvenile it was traumatic. I still have nightmares about it. Loosing a mack to those little blues did annoy me. But I started fishing solo largely cause having 2-3 people on the boat with me made it to easy sometimes, although I do miss the bs and recruit ho when available. Still enjoy going with Mike and people like that, though. Having 2-3 helpers on board not makes it fun, and I guess Hey Charlie gets lost of help cleaning those Mac's! My wife, Peruvian girl, makes the best ceviche you'll ever eat from those oily suckers. Honestly Hey Charlie, I finally figured out who your are, too. Glad to see you doubled out!! Assume you're going south, past 59A, R4, etc??? Nice fish.

Thanks also for the private updates! Looking to hook up with some good olde boys next week at the cake down to 7, and so forth. One friend must have passed me on the road. Had family party in Chesapeake Beach area so did 2 days Blue\ Rock trolling. It was productive, I must say. To easy, at the MOMENT (emphasis added. )
Hope to see you guys as the early am mist rises on the Poto. next week. And yes, in calm water, 3 planners is all I need - very simple. The eastern two foot chop was the problem, but I just wanted to share the technique that some SP folk showed me 15 years ago. Tight lines all.
