Nice fish Rob. I like the way you rigged your paddleboard for fishing.
I was able to sneak out this afternoon for a quick trip and to "work on the boat". Dropped the hook in a good spot where I've caught some nice perch before the tourney started. I launched my paddle-board from the "mother-ship".
Caught a few small ones and only had about 45 min before I had to break down the board and head back. Took a quick pic of one to document the trip. 9.5"
It was about time to pack up and what never happens for me did actually happened today...last cast, and then...nice bite. I could tell this one had some shoulders to it. It was on my older rod with 6lb mono (of course not the brand new one spooled with 10lb braid). Got it up near the board and I knew it was a good one. Didn't want to mess with measuring on the board so I put it in the cooler and quickly paddled back to the "mother-ship" for an official measurement.
Measured in at 12.5". My largest perch to date, and quite a blast from the paddle-board. Released quickly for another angler to enjoy. At the time I thought it might be a contender, but I realized tonight that there is a 13" on the board! Way to go outcast99! This is going to be a great perch tourney for sure.
I've got to work on my aggregate now, and I also know where that 12.5" lives...so hopefully I can stay in the game.

Yeah, another thumbs up for the fishing paddle board. Never seen that before, it looks great!
Great fish and great release. I better get busy, you folks are bringing in some serious perch.
