    Default Post WMO fishing

    I'm planning on going back to fun fishing on Sunday after a week of intense tournament rigging, prepping, and fishing. Saturday looks rough but Sunday Wx looks good.

    It was a good week but it made me appreciate our weekend outings more. There's a different energy when everyone is looking for money fish. Anybody else going out?

    We ran to 1,000 fathoms past the Washington on Monday with nothing but two short strikes to show for it. The other two days we had a shorter run to the Baltimore and released some whites and killed a couple of mahi in the canyon and on the 100 ft line. We were strictly looking for blue marlin so the small whites were a nuisance.

    Planning on pounding the 20-30 line on Monday. Hoping to snag a hoo or yft. Reports are slim or poor, but I'm going to give it a shot!
