Default Can you watch the Hampton Cup Regatta from your boat?

I've asked 2 people from work that I thought would know, and one said "yep, but there's a low bridge" and the other guy said "nope, can't get close enough to see anything".

Who is right, and how low is a low bridge? I'll probably ride over regardless just to get out on the water and if I can't get close enough, I reckon I'll get a slip for a few hours at Old Point Comfort marina.

Only way you will see is if you have a tall ship and you are watching from the crows nest anchored up at the bridge.

My buddy bailed, so I just rode over to Leeward for fuel and then drifted around between the M&M and the Godwin Bridge and watched the sunset over a cold beer...

Was actually a nice afternoon. Thanks for the response about viewing...I'll remember that for next year.
