Question Hand held GPS recommendation? eTrex?

Looking for a decent but not over the top handheld for backup on the main boat and to mark locations from my little reservoir runner. Garmin eTrex 20 maybe. Has tide tables, etc which is attractive (especially since my ten year old fixed mount deleted them; Garmin planned obsolescence as they unabashedly admit).
    Recmmendations?
    Thanks!

Thanks Paul. Sorry, I have an iTouch and love it but will not give up my $39/month flip phone until it dies!

I have an etrex 20 that I've been using for about 6 months for hiking and geocaching. That model was having what folks were calling a 'sticky' issue with it's compass and distance to destination. When moving at really slow speed, the ground you covered wouldn't register smoothly -- instead, you'd pass your objective and then it would update and tell you you were x many feet beyond. It looks like this issue was addressed with their latest firmware update. So...if you get it, be sure to connect up w/ Garmin and update the unit. One other thought. The etrex 20 has a basic compass that works off of the gps signal and really only registers properly if you're moving. If you're stopped, the compass reads wonky. More expensive Garmins like the Dakota and Colorado have triaxial compasses and those eliminate these types of problems. A great resource for reading up on the various models is gpstracklog.com (no affiliation)
