fished yesterday morning at rockhall area and fished upper bay today. yesterday caught 2 keeper blues
fished today in the upper bay caught 1 keeper rock and a few throwbacks. rockhall area some charters
doing pretty well and others not doing nothing you know it's tough when they have a hard time.

I did not see to many boats catchin many fish the last few days, but good quality fish are still around. You may have better luck during the week, weekend pressure can make the fishing bit more difficult. I'll bet Sunday was a circus at Rockhall.

Mouth of Eastern Bay was tough today too... I was there at sunrise, amongst the first boats to arrive. Quickly found LOTS of fish marks, but they were mostly on the bottom and not interested in eating our spot. So we did some trolling spoons with #1 and #2 planers, and got 4 dinks up to 16", surprisingly, no blues. Tried LL at 2 other locations with good fish marks and still no takers, other than some blues biting off tails. There were 50+ boats anchored up LLing and everyone looking around at eachother wondering why nobody was catching. Current was good, clouds, some wave action... but fish were not interested.

The past month or so has been red hot awesome LL for me, so I guess I was due for a bad day, but with all the stars aligned for what seemed to be a great day for fishing, I was quite surprised.

i'm hoping to try some topwater this week with my son if work allows me to. got a pretty good report today of some fish being in the mouth of some rivers up north in the evenings

gary he hasn't been crabbing and niether have i we been fishing.i went out last
sunday in the river up our way and got 33 crabs. it has been terriable for us in the upper
bay they were nice crabs just not enough to do what we do and you know what i mean
