    Default Oregon Inlet Report

Fished the out going tide Thursday, water was dirty and the grass was bad in places closer to the bridge. Bait of choice was finger mullet, squid, shrimp and grubs but didn't matter as the fish weren't biting.Tried all my usual holes and the channels.

BUT as I was headed back to Pirates Cove around noon we tried one last spot and it was on. Flounder were snapping the finger mullett up.

must have caught 20 or 25 in the next 2 hours, had 3 keepers. 2 went 17" and the other was just over the 15" mark. My partners in crime had a lot of bit off mullets due to them not letting them have the mullet so we could have caught more but it was loads of fun and my grandson had a ball reeling in some of my fish.

Glad you finally got some keepers. Suppose to try the white perch again this morning if my partner ever gets going.
