Default 2 Jims in the Capital paper

Jim Bieler, the owner of Marty's Tackle shop, uses a TF board name of 2 Jims, to reflect his name and his son's name. His son Jimmy is a capable angler. He was featured in Chris Dollar's outdoors column in today's Annapolis Capital paper with a photo of him holding a nice Spanish mackeral caught while fishing with Swartj this week. The article is on page C5 of the print edition and can be viewed online at http://www.capitalgazette.com/maryla...7b5f619f7.html.

    Nice going Jimmy.

Great article! WTG Jimmy on the Spanish, and WTG on the Eagle Scout project building and installing tree swallow houses on Poplar. Poplar is an incredible place to observe birds. We've seen everything from red wing blackbirds to woodpeckers to tiny sanderlings and Carolina wrens to hawks, gulls and eagles. ...and speaking of eagles, Jimmy, making Eagle is quite the accomplishment. WTG all the way around!

Nice job there Jimmy. Congrats on the macs and on your Eagle Scout project. One question.......are you and your dad still bobbing for apples in the livewell? Sorry.......couldn't resist. That's how your dad always looked after fishing with me on my center console. He always seemed to be on the wet side of the boat Congrats again....................................Mark

John and Don....Thanks for the kind words.

Mark....the HO side of your old boat was always wet. It was a hot day out there with no breeze, we were dipping towels in ice water and wrapping them around our necks to cool off.

I'm excited to get onto Poplar Island. I've fished all around it, but never stepped foot on it. I will post some pics in a few days of the island.
