8-22 fishing Report, It Is Football Season

Got home at 5pm for once, hooked up to the boat and Kim & I headed to the ramp. Trolled Sunday evening's spot once with only a couple of bumps. Reeled up and went to the same pier in the middle of that trolling spot and Shazam within 4 cast a nice fat 22 1/2"er! Then a short time later Kim reeled in a just barely 18"er, so we let him go. The bite stopped rather quick so we headed to another spot and the bite wasn't happening. So with a few more cast I did land a 19 1/2"er.

So with 2 in the box we tried a few spots for white perch with no luck. But a beautiful evening on the water with the Misses!!

Nice looking fish Rod I think I was at your spot on Tuesday no luck with rock but jig up some small perch........Brian

Thanks Rick & TD! The Rock that I've/We've been catching in the river have been very fat. Makes me want to fish every day but this year I can't do that yet, but plan to! Trust me the pictures do not do these nice healthy fat fish any justice.
