    Default HELP! Dreaded Black Screen!h

    Security Shield hijacked my computer/Tried to make me register and buy their Virus Protection.Claimed everything I had was infected.
    It finallt let me go after 10 min. and computer worked for about 35 min and then it said I needed to reboot and I did and then rhe BLACK SCREEN and flashing DOS: Curser.
    Have a new laptop now but would like to fix the old desk top any suggestions?

    Son came home for Christmas and in 5min he resuscitated it and it came back to live. I didn't think I would see that thing light up again but he did it. Didn't know he was that good. What a surprise.
