Snood line help!
port fisher,
In these photos the 1/2" hardware cloth (mesh) is attached to the rim with 1/2" Stainless Steel hog rings and SS aircraft wire.
The net is attached to the hardware cloth by wrapping the ends of the net wires around the hardware cloth and then around itself.
Thanks to John Brunozzi, I now use a "J" clip like those made for animal cage assembly for all of the connections.

Snood line help!
Safeguard Products,
New Holland, PA
800-433-1819
They call them Ferrules.
Part # 00051330, Parts Bag, Ferrules [414] @ $2.25 per bag.
I think the [414] is the amount in a 1 pound bag which is the way they are sold.
They also offer a crimping tool:
Pliers, Ferrule #5 @ $14.25 Part # 00000418
They accept Visa & M/C and will ship via UPS.
If you need only 50, send me you address & I'll send them to you.
Needle nose pliers will close the clips nicely. No need to buy the tool if you don't plan to go into mass production.
Does anyone have a closeup picture of a bungee snood setup. I'm haveing a difficult time picturing how the bungree holds the neck and how the bungee is attached to the line. I'm learning alot reading these posting and don't mean to be a nuisance to you experts, please bear with me and I'll soon be an expert.
Since I'm a self proclaimed amateur can anyone tell be how the bungee/snood attached to the line and how the checken neck is attached to the bungree? Help will be appreciated.
