South River Success
Started putting 30 traps in at 5:15 AM this morning, and was making the first run at 5:30 +/-. All 30 traps were back in the boat at 8:30 and headed back to the dock with a bushel of medium sized crabs at best. Most were 5 1/2" or so and few probably went 6". Some light ones, some medium weight but no
real bricks. The preferred depth seemed to be around 7' nothing doing in the 4-5' ranges. All of the bigger stuff came from the deeper water.
By next weekend the true big ones should start rolling.
