Manokin River

The Manokin is hot. I went to Lake Somerset Campground for a long weekend and played Ho to guy that a keeps a trailer at the camp. We ran a 1200ft line on Monday from the Jon boat in 6ft within spitting distance from the ramp - forget the roads but it's by the Deal Island intersection on Rt13 at Oriole & something. We had crabs on just about every piece of bait. Hand picked a full basket in about 2 hours. We only had a few throw backs, but most were pushing 7". I ran 25 rings in the Big Annamessex and worked hard to get 3/4 basket in 3 hours. Those jelly things were all over the place too. Managed a few flatties to 19" at Tangier too.

I've got an invite to go back this weekend, my parents are taking their trailer down that way for the Tawes tourney. They don't care about me, they want my boat. I need to find out where my anti-freeze is going first. I think I popped a head gasket[sad].
