Had a brain fart the other day, has any one tried to use a wheelbarrel wheel and assembly for a prop stick roller? Im in the process of making the arm out of ss that will lock in my aft rod holder and support the wheel. Any feedback and or idea's will help.

I'm not criticizing, but it sounds like overkill. The fewer moving parts the better. None is better yet!

But then, you may come up with a great invention. Won't know 'till you try it.

    Good luck.

My stick is made of 2" PVC with a piece of 2.5" that rolls freely ontop of the 2" bar. It cost me $7 and I have enough left over to build 2 more if this one gets lost or breaks. It fits snug in my rod holder and I tie it back so it pivots as the line goes over it.

PVC pipe, duct tape, and drywall screws - what would we do without this trinity?[grin] Each one has a million and one uses.[wink]
