Just got home from putting in 4hrs work this morning. Came across the blackwater bridge on Rt. 58 and there lies an empty log truck (tractor trailer) across both west bound lanes. Behind the log truck was a large delivery; state body truck turn sideways across the lanes with no engine and the cab burn.If you go to the WVEC news site they have a picture of the state body truck. No sign of a vann which wvec said was also involved; could be in the woods.Could see tire tracks in the grass media where one of the trucks was east bound and made almost a 90 degree and crossed over the media and hit one of the other trucks. Those of you fiamilar with the area know that the media is very wide in this area and would think the west bound vehicle would have time to take some evasion action. Some emergency vehicles and couple police cars were there but not much.Traffic was backed up about a mile and when I was past that saw a whole lot more coming on the west bound lanes. Can tell you things don't look too good for the state body truck driver.
Great news. Two injured, not life threatening. Both in need of clean underware.Did I tell you all that the truck had no engine nor its' windshield.
Now that is called having some good luck while having a bad Friday 13th.
So you're adding traffic reporter to your resume. On cable soon, the ACC Network, all you need to know and a bunch of stuff you don't give a #%^& about!
Herd about that this morning in the port. Glad no one was seriously injured. These Big Truck roll overs seam to be a daily thing around here.
