Good deal! Hope everything still worked the way it should.
Only thing I really got left to pick up are brass snaphooks for the end of the lines.....

Went down to the ES yesterday to get the boat out. Nice day too. Commies are eel trappin in the creek now. Ospreys soaring overhead. I cant wait to splash the tpx and wet a line.
Have a Tog trip outta Lewes on 4-21. Cant wait.
How are you all coming getting your rigs ready?

Line puller should be mounted by last week in April.
Boat is ready to go. Had problem with the steering cable. Since my boat is all open, the cable is exposed to UV rays from the sun. the sheath started cracking pretty bad last year, exposing the steel wrap around the cable itself. I priced a new cable at the boat store. $135 for the replacement and $159 for the whole damn steering system. That kind of pricing just drives me nuts. Had some rust floaters in my gas cans too. A good flushing out oughta fix that.
Anyhow, I decided to rap the cable with some industrial strenth waterproof wrapping to see if I could squeeze another year out of the thing and it's now working fine.
Saw the Mugwump crabbers in our creek take out several hundred crab pots the other day and the Crab House o'er the Dock Bar is now open for business. I'm gonna have to follow em out one morning to see where they got their line laid. I thought it was too early here in the upper bay to do any good. Could I be wrong? Gotta check it out.
