    Exclamation Thousands of dead fish

We ran out to Cape henry this morning for some spanish mac fishing. Just south of CH we came across thousands of dead fish. The smell was awful like they had been floating for a long time. These fish were "dressed" as in no heads and no tails. Ran from CH to second island for some flounder and found them there too!!! I know many will think net boats are at fault but this was different.I have never seen net boats process fish like that. They almost looked like spot. Anyone have an idea where they came from??

these fish were definitely dead as a result from a net. Headless fish is the first sign...gills get caught in the nets and the head rips off. The ENTIRE lower bay was covered in them. We covered 65 miles while sight casting for cobia and they were almost everywhere. Interesting side note, we did not see any Cobia in or around the dead menhaden. All fish were piled into small areas of tide lines that didn't have dead menhaden. Also saw countless dead bull reds mixed in up the bay...It was the biggest natural rotten chum slick ive ever seen.

All purse seine nets are evil which is what the omega boats do. They kill off the entire school (nothing left to reproduce the species) and kill the other fish feeding on the bunker.

Did anyone think to get photo's or video of all the dead fish. Pictures speak a thousand words. If it could be tied to Omega, it could be some bad PR for them.
