Heard from a good source that the Hickories were at Deer Creek yesterday. Only problem was fishing arm to arm at the mouth of DC. Time to go get them![excited]

There was a pretty good run going on when I was way up on the GP this past friday...I would imagine they're at DC pretty good too...

Lever netters were haulin' a few @ Rock Run on Sunday. Fly fishermen weren't gettin' any. I saw numerous shad swirlin' along the Susky shoreline and a few hittin' damsel flies in the crystal clear discharge at Rock Run. Shad are definitely in the Susky.[wink]

Big flock of cormorants were havin' a field day in mid-river chokin' down some smaller fish I couldn't make out. Maybe white perch?

Conowingo discharge has dropped to near normal but it's still stained.

The fly flingers were getting them just fine...

Hickory Shad are a protected species in MD. C&R only!
