Made my first trip yesterday. For those who know the area, the Queens Sound channel is marked again. I got my limit of flounder in about 3 hours. Caught 11 total, 6 between 17.25 and 20". Boat ran perfect, caught fish, and the weather was beautiful. It's all down hill after the perfect day yesterday so I may as well put the boat away for the year.[grin]

Hot bait was minnows, silversides 2nd, nuttin' on squid. Color didn't matter as half were on a bare hook. The ticket was keeping the bait off the bottom. Every bite I had was on something about 18" off the bottom. The bottom baits never got touched all day.

Terp, problems? Call me, you got my #. Do whatever I can to help.

How was water clarity? We fished four mouths Sunday (after last Saturday's windy weather) and the backwaters were churned chocolate. Managed just one throwback @ 15" on bull minnow.

    That's one fine report, bruddah.

Water clarity was surprisingly good. I'd guess 18". Of course it doesn't matter now 'cause the big ole wind machine is honkin again. Supposed to be "breezy" into next week. We had a nice warm day with no wind until 12 Wednesday.
