    Default Brewerton To Bay Bridge

Was going to head out yesterday afternoon, for first day of Rockfish trolling this season, got to the boat and she was blowing. Decided to work on the boat and get ready for a few trips out and get all my tackle in shape.

Q: I searched and have not seen any/many reports of folks fishing brewerton, knolls, podickory, love pt, etc....

I know it is still early for us Northern guys, but I'm planning on heading out Saturday with my two boys...anyone doing any good up here?

Doug I have heard of very few fish being caught up North of the Bay Bridge. The water has been really bad, although looks like it is getting a little better each day. I ran down to Poplar last weekend to get my fish. Fishing the MSSA this weekend and plan on running south as well.

Yeah, I kinda figured. We had a couple other guys run down Solomons way for the MSSA, but the water up here is starting to look better.

Might still make it an effort for finding early fish with Great EYESIGHT [grin]

Anyone else try fishing up here?

I am running out of Middle River early tomorrow morning. Plan on shooting over to the eastern shore side and taking a look at the water near Love Pt. Hoping to see some clean water oozing out of the Chester. If it looks OK I will drop em there and see what happens, if not, headed towards Bloody Point. If I get the chance I will post my findings (good or bad) tomorrow eve.
