    Default Potomac Bass

I've been working too much lately and had too many obligations this weekend to fish the nice weather. Today I had to get out no matter what. Hit the tide just right and caught about 30 bass. Mostly LM but did put 3 SM and a rockfish in the boat too. We were fishing ultra light spinning outfits with 6 lb test. Broke off on a couple really nice fish because we couldn't get them turned.

30 Bass is a ''Reel'' good day, especially now.The one on the right looks more like a Spot?Smallies too..you must have been in "Ioconelli Cove" That's the way to fish. Ultra light tackle, a river, a small craft, and little worry about the wind.I've gone almost exclusively to that style over the years .Alot more fishable days. Great report.

water was crystal clear. We were site fishing most of the time with pumpkinseed colored finesse worms. No weight.
