That is great Bosko. Never heard that version with her singing it, but that is good. Going to try and down load onto a disc to listen to for my trips to the lake this spring. This post was suppose to be with the 40 year ago post.

Good one Andypat; Thanks. Well big day today, sold the boat. I'll miss her but the young lady who brought her is thrilled to death. 17' Nitro with Evenrude 90 hp. My fishing partner has his boat so I'm hoping we'll still be going up the lake.

OK; 1971 now I know there aren't many of you out there who will remember this one. Remember 1971 Vietnam War was going bad, the Hippie's were protesting in all the cities and burning block after block of cars. Now here's one of my favorit from that time. For those of you who don't know the song, read the Lyrics of the song as it is being sung. It tells a story. Acey

The year, 1980. My wife and I purchased a 22', Wellcraft, center console. The boat had a very deep and flared bowl to thru the wake and mist far out to the sides. If you ran the least bit into a slight cross wind you and everyone in the boat would get soaked. I had to set a course "Against The Wind" to keep dry. In 1980 Bob Sagar came out with a song. I had a tape player and speaker hooked up under the console and would play that song when leaving and returning to the ramp. Can anyone guess the name of the song. That is what I names the boat and had the name painted on the stern. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...C58C305AF370678BD548C58C305AF370678&FORM=VIRE
