My brother and I launched out of Snow Hill at about 8:00AM. We were casting small twister tails, mainly in green but white and orange of all colors produced as well. We ended up with a 4 species day, 2 large bluegill, 1 10 inch YP, 19 crappie (as many released) and 1 pickle about 14" (released). We would drift or anchor the main river between the channel and shore casting both shallow and deep with both producing about equally. We tried Nassawango creek which is usually a hotspot for us but didn't get a single bite. Water was the usual brown color but clear and temperature ranged 55-57 on the surface.
