Just a suggestion guys. I place all the bait (in sealed bags)that is going fish that day in the bait cooler then salt the ice down. Usually a box of salt per roughly one 28-32 qt cooler of ice. Dump in about a gallon or so of water, preferably sea water. If your mix is right it will bring the temp down inside the cooler below zero and your bait will remain frooze all day. As the day goes along you may have to add some ice and salt to keep the mix but Most of the time when we come in, the left over bags are still hard. It just a poorman's "onboard freezer " and it does a pretty good job on the brews too. Be careful though, sometimes it will blow the tops off the bottles........jim
