Yeh,for mako's.Last year we had a 10 ftr and couldn't safely do anything with him.I didn't want to stick a couple of gaffs in him just to see him break the gaffs and then get away just to die.You dont need one for smaller mako's but for that one it would have made it very simple.One shot to the head and its sleepy time.[grin]

why not just buy a $75 used 12 gauge single shot at a gun show, wipe it down with drain oil, wrap it up in a trash bag until you need it, and hose off the salt when you get home?

a lot cheaper than some .38 BS and it'll work a lot better too.

I have a single shot 20 guage you can have .I think I even have some 20 guage buckshot or you can pick up some slugs.That baby will do them in.I will even bring some birdshot and we can use it to keep the D@m birds off of our baits. [excited]

Duane ,we already carry a 16 gauge shotgun but I'm thinking this would be simpler.Doesn't look like too many people are interested.
