Alright Guys, after about 20 hrs. of cleaning and waxing I'm done in that catagory. Super Glue could'nt stick to ANY part of My Boat!!!!Parts of me ache that I did'nt know I had!Still have about a Full day left to complete my mission.
Gotta tell ya' though,Anyone who comes aboard MUST have Rubber suction cup shoes and Welding Goggles."Cause if you don't,I Guarentee that you will bust your ass and go blind from the shine![grin][grin][Mike]
I hear ya Mike ... just spent the last 2 days doing the Collinite thing to my boat. First the glass cleaner than the Fleetwax ... come on tuna blood just a squirt from the hose an out the scupper it goes.[excited] You can read a newspaper from the reflection on the non-skid ... let alone the topsides[grin]
Same here aching like H#@&. Polished entire hull and topside with starbrite teflon. Woody waxed all stainless, cleaned all the teak now 2/3 finished oiling the teak. The sad thing is i'm ready to get it all messed up again[grin][grin].
I envy you guys. I just started today and I got a bit of the flybridge buffed. I'm doing super duty, followed by finesse it, then finally wax. Luckily I have a nice makita buffer to do the work, but trying to hold onto that thing uses every little muscle you didn't know you had. The gel coat is in bad shape in a few spots and it is going to be a project getting everything done. I hate waxing, but it sure beats trying to chisel off the tuna blood if you don't.
I think I need to come up with some coupons for "1 trip no fuel money" and try to get some ho's to show up at the boatyard on wax day. (and paint day, and prop cleaning day) Not sure I would see a line forming, though.
Lot of work for sure!!Hard on the shoulders hangin' on to that Buffer for hours on end too!Got a 10 yr. Old Hydra-Sports[Vector 2000] and I got it shinin' like a 2005!!I don't want to get Her dirty now, anybody need a Ho?[grin][Mike]
