What Is Condition Of Oregon Inlet?

I was talking to a friend yesterday, trying to set up our first trip of the year, and he said he had heard that the Inlet was in pretty bad shape and possibly unpassable at times. We need about 2 feet of water under the boat and I'm concerned about passing the second bar.

Towing down to Rodanthe Wednesday, if this Flu clears up.

Went out the inlet Sunday, no problems.

Ran it today, different run out for sure but no problems at all. New course is very well marked. Once through just so you know what to look for and it should be a breeze for you.
