fished out of HI sunday on the Regulator1. headed for the 250 line & had a hardtime finding the warm water. Started trolling in 250 fathoms in 72 degree water headed north & had our first hook up w/in the hour. Big bull right around 25 lb. after that it was slow. around 11:30am on the 330 line i was on the horn w/ fishin fool trying to find the mahi bit & 2 lines go off.......2 more gaffers in the box. again, after that it was slow....so we went to the 420 line to check on a tuna bit & all H#% broke lose. Tuna busting everywhere.......we miss 2 fish & then hooked up a nice yft on the machine way back.....20 minutes later 45 lb yf in the box. had another knock down w/ a slipped crimp.....(not happy about that at all)

well the 2 mahi around noon & the nice yft....made the day for us.

Wont be back down until 4th of July....so dream of days like sunday was for the up coming holiday cus it was butter out there.

Glad you got em, but please tell me your fishing before July 4th, that's over a month away. We need to have that McNulty/Decker grudge match. Sushi and mahi tacos, can't beat that.

IN..........But probably not trailoring down again until the 4th.

Hopefully that warm water will make its way home.......weird year....cus last year this same time we were fishing the weather bouy in 70 degree water & catchin lots of yf's.

So we'll see who catches the most fish ......then we'll see who drinks who under the table..........
