I doubt it!
I just had a buddy call me and tell me there is now a 2 dolpin per fisherman limit. He read it in the Coastal Fisherman.
Is this true or he just cant read???
I doubt it!
I think he just cant read!!!!
Well, thats what the CF says...So he can read...I just don't think that is correct...
carolina would die if that were true
Effective 9/24/04 Federal management of Dolphin and Wahoo became effective. Atlantic limit on Dolphin is ten per person, not to exceed 60 per vessel. Wahoo limit is 2 per person. In addition, Fla. and Ga. ( only) have a min. size on Dolphin of 20" fork length.

Glenn,
Thanks for the clarification. 10/angler is what we have been working under for awhile.
Weeeeell I have seen quite a few dolphin under 20'' on the docks the past couple weeks too.
Yep its in the CF. The title says Federal Waters (3-200) Size and Creel Limits. When I did a search on the inet, I couldn't find it.
John
JakeG, the 20" min. only applies in Ga. and Fla ( as far as I know). Personally, I think the 20" min. is not an effective mgmt. tool for Dolphin due to their fast growth rates. ( in 2 weeks that 18"er will be 20").
