My first White Marlin-OI

We made the run to the Point yesterday out of OI in relatively flat seas. Put lines out and had two run offs that did not come tight. We trolled by some floating boards and watched as a white marlin crashed on a blue seawitch and the TLD 25 began to make that beautiful sound of fish on. I grab the rod and watch the marlin greyhound across the water. Nice ten minute fight and we get him to the boat. We got a few hoops and hollers from a charter that trolled by as we were releasing him. Really cool fight....I'm ready to go again. We finished the day by losing a nice hoo that bit on mono. Screaming run, nice five minute fight then nothing. Still a sweet ride home.
