Friends are going down to Hatteras October 1st-8th. What kind of offshore action do you think will be happening?

excellent time - Wahoos, Tunas, still some leftover Mahi, Plenty of Kings, occasional Marlin

The thing about Hatteras is that it's a year round fishery.
You see, when God created Hatteras he gave it the choice.
You can either have calm seas and short seasons or you can
have unpredictable snotty seas and great fishing all year round.
Hatteras chose the later.
