Help me sell my Albemarle 24

The boat's cruise range is from about 2800 rpm to 3800rpm and will run between 19kts and 29kts pretty comfortably. Best cruise is around 25 to 26kts and best recorded fuel efficiency was between 2.5 and 2.7 nmpg. That was measured with the boat running and a laptop computer with Volvo diagnostic software hooked up to the engine. It does not have a dedicated fuel management system on it.

Top speed is a gps recorded 51mph with two guys and half fuel as recorded by Layton's boatworks on the Albemarle sound (well after it was broken in). Carlton told me it was the fastest 24 Albemarle he ever repowered.

Thanks, Todd. I am still trying to come up with a way to tell the boss that it may be time to move up a little in size.

Trust me, it looks very interesting. That is why I asked Ben the questions. I would have to unload mine, first, 'cause she sure ain't gonna let me have 2 boats at the house! [grin]

That Alby would definitely give me the legs to go romping offshore, though (not that the little Robalo has not been out there a few times, too)

What did it cost you in the end[grin]?

One of my problems is that she never fails to remember how many rods and reels I keep in the garage......but that is another story I better not get started here!
