OK, it's that time of year again to get the Maryland Baitmaster Order going. This bait is the best you have ever seen, just ask the VA guys who just ordered it and the guys who went in on the order from last year !

My plan is to collect all the money and order the baits in the first half of February.
We'll tentatively plan that Tuesday, February 14th ( Valentines Day ) 2006 will be the cutoff day for receiving the money from all participants.

If we get the order in by Feb. 14th, then we should roughly plan to receive the shipment around Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week, February 21st or February 22nd.

Orders are for whole cases ONLY ! If you want to get together and go in for half cases, no problem with me, but separate packs are too much of a pain.

The order is limited to 50 cases due to shipping constraints. I spoke with Ray from Baitmasters today and he assured me the baits they are packaging are AWESOME !!!! He also locked in the prices that are current on their website. Check it out at: http://www.baitmasters.com

Here are the basic unrigged hoo prices:

Peewee ( 12 per pack ) 12 packs per case case=$78
Small ( 12 per pack ) 12 packs per case case=$102
Small-Medium ( 12 per pack ) 12 packs per case case=$102
Medium ( 12 per pack ) 10 packs per case case=$85
Select ( 5 per pack ) 16 packs per case case=$104
Horse (2 per pack ) 30 packs per case case=$195
Jumbo ( 2 per pack ) 25 packs per case case=$200

These are just the unrigged ballyhoo prices, they also offer:
Rigged and Unrigged: Mackerel, Mullet, Squid, and Flying Fish

Shipping is $250 for the entire order ( max of 50 cases ), so the more cases we can get on the order the cheaper it will be per case.

Estimated Shipping will be:

15 cases = $16.66 per case
20 cases = $12.50 per case
25 cases = $10.00 per case
30 cases = $8.33 per case
35 cases = $7.14 per case
etc...

Feel free to write the check for the bait prices only, then we can even up on the shipping at pickup. You can also wait and send me the check with bait cost & estimated shipping later this month once we have an idea how much the order will total.

I'll track all orders on this first post to record member name, number & type of cases, total $$ owed, and if payment has been received.

I also spoke to a few people in MDES\Delaware that were interested, so maybe we can get a delegate for the pickup for that area.

I also need a business in the Millersville or surrounding area that can accept 18 wheelers. And someone mentioned last year that they might have a large freezer to store some cases if people couldn't pickup that day. If we can get the bait delivered to a business and then have a large freezer nearby, we can turn this into a Meet & Greet for Offshore TF members in Maryland.

I'd be careful of the selects/horses, the case of selects i got are the same size as the horses for a lot cheaper - not sure of the Jumbos, though. Maybe an anomaly but beware

Thanks for your efforts last year, I really appreciate it. It was some good stuff. Count me in for one case of mediums. I saved one pack from last years order for the Poor Girls Open in August and we took 2nd place in the tuna division with a 128 lb Bluefin Tuna.
