HOW DO YOU RIG YOUR DINK BAITS?
split bill or gauc.with a circle hook...also a skipper or two..
After this year, I don't anymore...3 whites all on the biggest lure in the spread (a couple different trips) - a Select hoo with an Islander Black hole blue/white...[grin]
Seriously, I rig them either split bill with a tiny chin weight or without, depends on the conditions. I'll also rig some regular with no weight so they skip like Jimmy mentioned. I'm fast becoming a fan of split bills after watching everything that swims come up and wail em...they run beautifully from the flat line but also work well on the shorts. Skipper/swimmers work nicely too. Mahi, Tunas, Whites...they all like em'. 60-80 pound leader, 5/0 hooks. I have not tried rigging with circles so I don't know squat about that...
