cancun sportfishing

I'm thinking of making a trip to Cancun in Mar. to catch some sails.
I know Arch on the Pelican is there, does anybody know what other OI/ PC charter boats are there as well?
Also, as this would be my first trip there any advice/ recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Byron - Check out the boats in Isla Mujeres. Cancun was hit pretty hard and quite of few boats didn't make the trip this year. Isla was not hit as bad. I will Bmail you some phone numbers.

DAD WAS DOWN THERE LAST MONTH AND SAID EVERYTHING IS PRETTY MESSED UP RIGHT NOW. MIGHT WANT TO CHECK OUT ISLA MUJERES OR FIND ANOTHER DESTINATION THIS YEAR.

Walt should be down there now, he had the boat down in Florida over Christmas and was moving it on around. He fishes out of Isla Mujeres. He can get you some good room rates down there!

Also, When does the sail fishing usally peak ?
I had thought Mar and Feb but from reading old posts it seems like late Jan and Feb.

Talked to Joe Riley on the Muff Diver out of Ocean City and he told me a private boat out of Isa Mujeraus caught 49 sails on Thrusday.He got that info from Capt. Ron Fields who will be moving his boat down the first week of Feb.

Did you catch a name on the private boat and did you get a boat name for Ronnie's new ride? We saw him last week in West Palm but I cant remember what his new boat is or where it is out of?
