My New DEATH STICKS

First off, standard disclaimer. . . blagh blagh blagh, no one asked me to post this and i get nothing for it.

now, onto the good part[grin]

Last week I picked up my new Rods from Joe at Bay Runner Custom Rods.


Let me just tell you, THESE THINGS ARE FRIGGIN AMAZING!


He built them to my exact specs and far, far exceeded my expectations. Not to mention the price was amazing!

The pics just dont do these rods justice. I wanted them all black. . .i mean ALL BLACK. . . with chrome guides and a chrome detachable butt. I will be mounting avet ex50Ws on them. . . silver ones, so these setups will be absolutely beautiful.


If you are looking to get some custom rods made, take my advice, go through Joe. He will treat you right and make you an amazing rod!!!

Those all black rods look bad to the bone......you will love them. You'd need to mention the price for this too be a true ad [wink].

I too am a HUGE Bayrunner Rod fan. To date I have 23 rods from Joe and have 6 more on order.

Thanks for the comments JP. Bill does have a bundle-O-rods from BayRunner and more coming. Wrapped another one tonight Bill...I will have this long overdue set of 4 assembled by this weekend...

Joe (Bayrunner rods) built me 2 standups on Calstar blanks, which exceeded my expectations, the one difference with mine VS JP's ... they already have tuna blood & hoos slime on them[grin] Joe is a stand-up kind of guy, he will raise the bar on the definition of customer satisfaction

Same story - I used them on Art's boat last week - and was really happy - only issue is that the guy is an army guy (go navy !). Highly recommend him - will be my next order.
